The third Thursday of November has been designated by UNESCO as World Philosophy Day. This year the Friends will participate by hosting a conversation on the work of Helen De Cruz. The purpose of World Philosophy Day is to bring philosophy to a wider audience, especially children. The event is for all ages, and will lead participants through a series of short philosophical thought experiments that have been illustrated by Helen De Cruz. The event begins at 5:30 in the library's conference room.
